An exciting opportunity to join our retail team as an Assistant Manager.

Job Title:                           Assistant Manager

Responsible to:                 Retail Manager

About the Role:                 Support our Store Manager in the overall running of the store to exceed customer expectations, meet targets and motivate the team.

 

This is an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity working 5 days from 7. Salary is starting from £27,500 dependent on experience.

Interviews will be held week commencing 17 June 2024.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery

  • Be part of a renowned family brand with a rich heritage, creating a dynamic team who are as passionate about their craft as we are.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of our craftmanship and the processes involved in creating our luxury woven and knitted cashmere products.
  • Ensure the team inspire our customers by advising on style and fit.
  • Maintain a luxury environment on the shop floor, driving and implementing visual merchandising standards.
  • Support the Store Manager with all store operations.
  • Maximise sales and optimise operational efficiency.
  • Act as a role model and lead by example, being present on the shop floor and delivering exceptional customer experience.

People

  • Coach and inspire store team and provide performance feedback to retain and develop talent
  • Support the team to cultivate customer relationships and drive repeat business

About You

  • Have experience in an assistant manager or supervisory position within luxury retail
  • Show exemplary customer service skills and an understanding of a luxury retail environment
  • Demonstrate a keen interest in craftmanship and authentic Scottish textile manufacturing
  • Show genuine passion for our brand and confidently share our rich history & heritage with customers
  • Be commercially aware, keeping up to date with fashion trends
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of colleagues and customers
