Finishing Team Lead

Mill Operations
This is a hands on supervisory role for someone with experience in dry finishing.

About the Role

Reporting to the Dry Finishing Supervisor, the role is a “hands on” working position which includes undertaking duties relating to all aspects of Dry Finishing ensuring –

  • The production plan is executed and work is prioritised and balanced amongst team members;
  • The highest possible quality standards are maintained;
  • Finishing steps are accurately posted and problem solving/staff training is undertaken as required on Jomar;
  • Staff comply with basic work rules, standard operating procedures and risk assessments;
  • Training needs are assessed and met and the skills matrix is updated regularly;
  • TMS is updated on a daily basis and return to work interviews are undertaken as required;
  • Process improvement ideas are actively identified and proposed to the Dry Finishing Supervisor.

The pattern of work will be on a rotational two shift basis working early and back shift.
