An exciting new temporary part-time secondment opportunity has arisen for an internal candidate to join our Health and Safety team as an Administrator.

About the Role

An exciting new temporary part-time secondment opportunity has arisen for an internal candidate to join our Health and Safety team as an Administrator.

You will be providing administrative support in the busy department by:

  • Booking employees on to courses, such as Manual Handling
  • Filing certificates and adding these to databases
  • Co-ordination of Health & Safety documentation
  • Ensuring employees certificates are up to date
  • Liaising with colleagues and external parties in person, on the phone or by email

This is a temporary post working 16 hours per week. If you are already contracted to work more hours than this, you would work the rest of your hours in your current department.

About you

You will –

  • Have previous experience in an administrative role, or are eager to learn
  • Be able to demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft Office and be computer and data literate
  • Have strong interpersonal skills with people at all levels
  • Be able to plan and prioritise your own workload and deal with conflicting deadlines
  • Be proactive and self-motivated with a positive attitude
  • Be able to manage highly sensitive and confidential information
