Key Responsibilities - Maintain and oversee the day-to-day running of the knitting department.

This is a permanent role, working 39 hours a week on a dayshift. Salary is starting from £24,700 per annum dependent on experience.

About the Role

Based in our Hawick knitting mill, you will: 

  • be able to prioritise workloads and problem solve issues efficiently working to meet targets and fulfil production schedules
  • deal with issues quickly and efficiently using clear communication and flexibility to adapt to production requirements while working as part of a larger team reporting directly to the Knitting Managers
  • be responsible for championing the highest quality throughout the team with a good eye for detail   

About you

You will:

  • be quality driven demonstrating high attention to detail
  • have previous supervisory experience or manufacturing experience, preferably in a knitting environment
  • be self motivated with strong organisational skills
  • have the ability to supervise and work within a team
  • be computer literate, with prior knowledge of manufacturing systems being advantageous
