About the Role: 

As a Loomer, you will be in a diverse and challenging role as a machine setter. We are currently looking for a Loomer to join our busy and growing Weaving department.

  • Setting up looms according to work ticket and product specifications
  • Maintaining looms
  • Repairing loom malfunctions
  • Ensuring products meet quality standards
  • Some manual handling tasks and heavy lifting will be required.

Although experience in the textile industry is preferable, no experience is necessary for these posts as full training will be provided in house. You can also join our SVQ Modern Apprenticeship programme and gain a qualification alongside your training, if desired.

These are full time, permanent posts working an average of 39 hours a week over a three shift rotation (early, back and night shifts).
