You will be checking and receipting orders, stock counts, and staff uniform in our Logistics department.

Role responsibilities will include –

  • Checking deliveries against Supply Chain purchase orders to ensure quantity and quality are as expected
  • Raising non-conformances for any product found not to be conforming and liaise with Supply Chain to alert supplier and arrange return/replacement
  • Putting deliveries away and conducting stock counts, reports and transactions
  • Returns – liaise with Supply Chain and Logistics to arrange return of non-conforming product to supplier if required
  • Receipting goods against Supply Chain purchase orders in Jomar
  • Marking up goods with required identification eg barcode stickers before passing to relevant department
  • Uniform and PPE – placing purchase orders with suppliers, receipting, controlling stock, managing requests, distribution and keeping records

A UK driving license is required as you may be required to drive between our Elgin sites. Holding a forklift or bendi-forklift license would be beneficial but not essential as training can be provided.

This is a permanent post, working 39 hours a week.

Working hours are 7am – 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7am – 12pm Friday. Flexibility may be considered for the right candidate.

  • Excellent organisational skills, preferably with experience in a similar role
  • A strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • A calm, efficient and enthusiastic demeanour, even on the busiest of days.
  • MS Office proficiency (Word, Outlook, Excel)
