Role Description: 

  • You will be operating and patrolling machinery which washes and processes our cloth. These machines take the cloth from rough and greasy to soft and clean.
  • You can expect to learn, over time, about 15 different machines and 27 different processes.
  • It’s a secret world where touch, feel and senses play a huge part in the creation of the luxurious fabrics. As it’s not an exact science, this adds to the magic, and to the skill level. 
  • No experience is necessary as full training will be provided. You may also have the opportunity to further your training by undertaking an SVQ in Manufacturing Textile Products.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 39 hours per week. Shifts will be worked on a 3 week rotation, rotating early, back and night shifts as follows - 

Early shift - Monday to Thursday 6am - 2pm, Friday 6am - 1pm

Back shift - Monday to Thursday 2pm - 10pm, Friday 1pm - 8pm

Night shift - Monday to Wednesday 9pm - 7am, Thursday 9pm - 6am
