Overview
We are looking for a Lockstitch Team Leader to join our team on a permanent basis, the role is a hands on working position which includes undertaking duties relating to all aspects of Lockstitch.

About the Role

Reporting to the Lockstitch Shift Leader, the role is a “hands on” working position which includes undertaking duties relating to all aspects of Lockstitch whilst ensuring –

  • The production plan is executed and work is prioritised and balanced amongst team members;
  • The highest possible quality standards are maintained;
  • Lockstitch steps are accurately posted and problem solving/staff training is undertaken as required on Jomar;
  • Staff comply with basic work rules, standard operating procedures and risk assessments;
  • Training needs are assessed and met and the skills matrix is updated regularly;
  • TMS is updated on a daily basis and return to work interviews are undertaken as required;
  • Process improvement ideas are actively identified and proposed to the Supervisor.

This is a full time, permanent post working Monday to Thursday 0700-1600 and Friday 0700-1100 equating to 38 hours per week.

Rate of pay is starting from £13.64 per hour, dependant on experience.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Hands on experience working in lockstitch, or a similar department, with our luxury products
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to work with and lead a team effectively
  • Willingness to learn and grow within their role
  • High attention to detail
  • Good colour vision
  • Ability to meet deadlines
